Daniel de Lorimier
Daniel de Lorimier is a multi-instrumentalist music teacher and performer who is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Jazz Guitar at SFSU. A proficient player of guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and percussion instruments, he loves to foster enthusiasm and understanding of all things music. Daniel offers private lessons and group classes for guitar, ukulele, and bass in the styles of rock, pop, folk, country, jazz, as well as music theory, harmony and composition. Daniel has been playing music since the age of 8, but more recently has been performing in university ensembles and several bay area rock bands such as The Spiral Electric. He has performed at Slim’s, Brick and Mortar, Don Quixote’s and dozens of other local venues, and plays bass in his current band Locus Pocus.
