Patrick Kelly

Patrick Kelly is a musician originally from upstate New York who began playing guitar at age 10 and drums at 14. He started teaching in 2021 and relocated to the Bay Area in 2026, bringing with him years of performance and instructional experience.

Patrick’s teaching philosophy centers on building a positive feedback loop — when students enjoy the learning process, progress comes naturally. He believes music should be fun, engaging, and inspiring, helping students develop both skill and curiosity about how music works.

Over the years, Patrick has performed a wide range of styles in live settings, including country, jazz, metal, pop, rock, and worship music. From 2021 to 2025, he was a member of the St. Paul’s Methodist worship band in Castleton, New York.
