Junling Lai

Junling Lai, who began her piano studies at the age of four, is from Guangzhou, China. She teaches in both Cantonese and Mandarin.

Junling Lai started learning piano performance at a young age under the guidance of Professor Cai Songqi, dean of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music. She holds Grade 8 certificates in piano performance from both Trinity College London and ABRSM. She is committed to creating a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment for young piano students, helping them truly appreciate the beauty of music. To achieve this, she has continuously explored various pedagogical approaches，including the Kodály, Laban Efforts, Healthful piano technique, Montessori, Trinity, ABRSM, and others.Over the past eight years, Junling has applied her knowledge to teaching practice, continually refining her methods. She has provided a well-rounded piano education to nearly 50 students, guiding them through performances, competitions, examinations, and even organizing personal recitals. Her students describe her as a responsible, optimistic, inclusive, fun and imaginative teacher.
