Holden Hunt

Holden Hunt is a guitarist, songwriter, and band leader with a decade of experience playing and performing music. He first picked up the guitar out of a love for alternative and indie rock, but quickly expanded into a wide range of genres to build a strong musical foundation. Over the years he has played in several bands, performing at more than a hundred live shows and developing a deep understanding of both musicianship and collaboration.

Alongside guitar, Holden also plays bass and has formal training with a minor in audio production from the University of Oregon, which gives him a strong grasp of music theory, arrangement, and the creative side of recording. Before teaching private lessons, he spent years directing and working with bands including Call me Sunday and Bowl Peace, helping players of all levels find their sound and grow as musicians.

Holden’s teaching style is laid-back, encouraging, and shaped around each student’s goals. Whether a student is learning their first chords, writing original songs, or exploring new genres, he builds a personalized path that balances technique, creativity, and fun. His aim is to help every student develop confidence, musicality, and a real connection to the instrument.
