Christy Xu

Christy began studying voice and piano at a young age, and singing has since become a central part of her life. In middle school, she developed a strong interest in classical music, which led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music. She holds a Master’s degree in the Vocal Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Throughout her studies, Christy has actively participated in annual opera workshops, collaborating with outstanding vocalists to perform opera excerpts and refine her stage artistry. In addition to performing, she is deeply passionate about teaching. During her undergraduate years, she served as a vocal tutor for high school students who shared her love of singing.

Christy believes that teaching is a two-way journey of growth. As her students develop their voices and confidence, she continues to learn and grow alongside them, creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
