Miah Cushman
Miah Cushman graduated from SUNY Fredonia in December, 2024 with degrees in Music Performance, and Jazz Studies, and has been teaching private lessons for over a year. Her most recent trumpet teachers have been Alex Jokipii, and Griffith Kazmierczak. Additionally, Miah has recently studied jazz piano with Nick Weiser, and has a strong music theory background. Miah has performed with several of the collegiate ensembles at Fredonia, including the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra, and Symphony Orchestra.
Miah is planning to pursue her Master’s in Music for trumpet at San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Fall of 2025.
